When you log into the CourtSolutions website, the Recording Bot can now be found in two places: both on the Hearing Dashboard and above your reservations. Both sets of buttons can control the Recording Bot.
Controlling the Recording Bot from the Hearing Dashboard
- Start a recording
- To start a recording, click the "Start Recording" button found on the Hearing Dashboard.

The Recording Bot will appear on the Hearing Dashboard and begin recording. You will also receive an email alert that the recording has started.

Stop a recording

Click the "Recording. Press to Stop" button on the Hearing Dashboard. The Recording Bot will immediately disconnect and stop recording.

You will also receive an email alert when the Recording Bot has been stopped. In that confirmation email, you will find the link needed to download the recording file. Please note that if the recording is more than four hours in length, there will be multiple recordings to download.

Controlling the Recording Bot after you log into your CourtSolutions' account
- Click the "Check Status" button to determine the current status of the Recording Bot.
- If the Recording Bot is inactive, click the "Start Recording" button to initiate the recording.
- If the Recording Bot is recording, click the "Press to Stop" button to disconnect the Recording Bot and end the recording.
Pausing A Recording

To pause the recording from the Hearing Dashboard, click the “Hold” button on the Recording Bot’s card. That places the Recording Bot on hold until you bring it back. To bring it back, press the "Hold" button again.
Retrieving A Recording

When you are logged into CourtSolutions, click the “My Account” button to access any recording file for your Judge from the last 30 days.

Recordings are sorted by date and time and can be downloaded in WAV or MP3 format.

The list of recordings indicates who started and stopped the recording.
Time Limits

Recording Bot 2.0 can record for up to 12 consecutive hours. After approximately four hours, Recording Bot 2.0 will automatically refresh itself and continue recording. You no longer have to hang up and reinitiate the call.

You may experience a few second break when it refreshes automatically.

If your recording is more than four hours, for ease of downloading, the recording will be broken up into multiple files. Be sure to download all necessary copies.
