No. You can take a call from any location, at any time. If the Judge does not have a computer or tablet available, the call will work just fine, however, he will not be able to use all of the features that are offered on the CourtSolutions' Hearing Dashboard.
The Judge can use his credentials to open the line. The clerks and deputies have their own credentials and can use them to join the call. If court personnel are in the courtroom, they will be able to record the call using their own equipment. CourtSolutions does not have the means to record any calls.
